Please help with gamecube backup installation.

Can anybody give me a step by step guide to install an app (dol file) or whatever on homebrew channel so I can put gamecube games on a disc and play them on the app. Thank you. I'm using system menu 4.3E if that helps. Links, too, would be very nice. Pretty much making backups. A backup launcher or something similar to what I have said. I am using DVD-R and am wondering how to use this with neogamma or something please help me play gamecube games on backup discs on my wii. Anyone?

I don't know about playing backup disks, but you can USB load GameCube games based on isos that you rip yourself either with Devolution or Dios Mios. I know more about the latter. Downloads and guide can be found in my singature.

Yes, you can have GC and Wii games on 1 drive (that's how I do it). But your USB device must be FAT32 with 32kb cluster size. This means you'll have to use Wii Backup Manager to add your Wii games on the drive as .wbfs files. GC games you can simply drag/drop or copy/paste.

You can find full details on USB loading your GameCube ISOs in the Devolution guide (linked in my signature) or the Dios Mios guide (in the Other FAQs, Guides & Tutorials section).

I recommend reading the Dios Mios guide here at WiiHacks, it will be much easier to get the help you need to set up Dios Mios there as it is frequented by many experienced Dios Mios users.

Devo vs. DM is usually a personal choice. Check out both and see if you like one more than the other. I use DM over Devo. I know others that prefer Devo.

Yes, wbfs2far can cahnge a WBFS formatted drive to FAT32 without deleting data. But there is no way to configure what the cluster size will be, that I know of. It may end up the 32k you need, it may not.

I don't recall the formatting tool that floats around the threads, but there is supposed to be one that will let you change a FAT32 64k cluster format to a FAT32 32k cluster format without losing data. Maybe someone can chime on in on that for an option if wbfs2fat results in 64k clusters.

And I would recommend Wii Back up Manager as a replacement to WVBS manager for installing games to a FAT32 hard drive based on .isos. You can download it from here: http://url.llaffer.com/wiibm

I've formatted the usb to 32 kb and fat32 and I put a iso on the drive with wii backup manager. wii backup manager also told me to make a folder claled wbfs and put isos in there. So i used a wii iso it transferred good and I went on wii put the usb in the right port and loaded it up on usb loader gx; it said no usb device found. so am i doing something wrong or does usbloader gx not support fat32 usb? Ive used the same usb and formatted it on wbfs and it worked so yeh. By the way i formatted the drive with windows 8 default installed formatter to fat32 32kb allocation unit size (cluster size im guessing?)
