Wii USB Loader GX Help

Hello my name is Kaike and recently my Wii disk reader broke and I haven't been able to play any of my CD games. I've soft-modded my Wii, did the Truncha Bug and installed USB Loader GX on it. I put my game iso in the usb file (which i formatted before doing so), but it doesn't load the game for me to play. I've heard that you need the game CD first, and that the USB Loader is only for External Hard Drives. If so, is there any way I can play my Wii disk games even with a broken Disk reader?

You cant play USB games without a disc drive.You need a new one.Dont worry you dont need the game in drive while playing the same game on USB

Its not too much.You can find it at amazon,ebay etc. opening wii is a little expensive because of special screwdrivers etc better take it to someone If you dont want to screw your wii Cause There are tons of little parts in wii that can fall.taking to a modder is easiest maybe the problem is a different but i cant say much thing before seeing your wii.

While the answer is true, that without a drive you cannot usb load (or even do much of anything) Wiis can still function nicely with USB loading w/ busted dvd drives. The best way to explain it is that the wii needs to know a drive is there, even if it doesnt actually work properly. I have been using a wii in this state for some time.

So if you plan on doing usb loading, and can find someone to help you rip the discs, or figure out some way to get the images on your hard drive, fixing the drive may be unnecessary.

have you ever opened your wii to look at disc drive?what happaned and it broke?

No I haven't opened it up, but the Disk Drive broke after it fell. BluPhant are there any guides available that can help me load a game without a drive?

You still need a drive, it just wouldnt be your drive. Find a friend, softmod their wii, & rip discs. Be creative.
