    Alright I'm lost

Ok so I was able to hack my Wii with Mauifrogs guide Softmod Any Wii [Guide]. I also did the guide for [Guide]Fat32 from Pob3008.

Now my problem is mainly understanding. So I'm using a SanDisk 8GB USB and since it is FAT32 I can not pass my .iso files that are over 4GBs.

Ok so that guide for fat32 gave me a file that was .wbfs and i had split it 4GB so with that file I can play my game?

I am thinking of getting an external hard drive any recommendations specifically for the Wii. Also is it possible to have the SD information on that same HDD and my games?

Use wii backup manager to transfer the iso to your drive and they will be properly split and play just fine.

The sd contents can be put on a hdd, yes.

You will be surprised just how small most games really are. That's why they need to be scrubbed or transferred with a game manager. Your hard drive space is precious, why fill it up with usless ones?

Format your usb to ntfs and you will be able to use games, bigger than 4 gigs and you will not need any other program to upload the games just drag and drop, humm (create a wbfs folder on the root of your usb there goes the games)

If u want to use external hdd for homebrew and games, your best bet would be to make 2 partitions on it. The first partition should be fat32 and active primary. The second should be ntfs for all your games.
