Is it possible to remove the update file in wii iso

Hi. So i have a Wii that is on firmware 4.2u. It has Neogamma R7 and I don't really no anything of softmodding. My question is if I can remove the update file in a games iso. Like when a game tries to update my Wii sthat i can play it. Is there any way for me to stop that update. I have heard of Priiloader but dont know how to install that. Oh when i run Neogamma the things on the bottom say IOS249 (Rev 14). I dont know if that is of any importance. If i can do anything to stop wii updates can you please tell me. If you can tell me how to install priiloader throught the homebrew channel. Thanks in advance.

Your mod is in need of an update. Follow the Softmod ANY Wii guide, link in my signature below. It will update everything, as well as give you priiloader.

Yes it is possible to remove the game update partition, however since you are disc loading it really would serve no purpose. Priiloader is what you need.

Will this brick my wii and what are the possibilities of it bricking my wii

So i could install a newer softmod by just downloading the things and installing without uninstalling anything on my wii.

As long as you follow the instructions you should be fine. As stated, all you need to do is follow the guide.

No. Just read. It isn't as difficult as you may think. There are hundreds of posts in that guide where people said how easy it was. It may seem daunting at first, but just take your time and follow the instructions and you will be fine.
