    I was told that RW disc wont work.

    I probably have the GC2-D3-2 Chip.. ( I think this because i only tried to use Gigaware DVD+R )

    I plan on putting multiple games on Dvd and running through Gamecube Launcher. I Did get an error before.. but i will soon use a DVD-R and will get my results.

    Will the DVD+R work if i change the booktype? And i always have trouble changing the booktype.

    I guess changing the booktype to DVD-ROM will work... but if don't, change to DVD-R better results without any problems. About the D3-2 you won't play any backup disc on that dvd reader, the same goes for the new D-4, you will need to install a HDD for your games.

    I normally use Verbatim DVD-r, but since I had none I burnt SMG2 on a cheap Sony DVD+r. I didn't expect a whole lot but to my surprise it works perfectly. It loads fast, there are no hickups in sound or image and the Wiidvddriver doesn't seem to have a hard time with it. It doesn't produce more noise than with any given retailgame.
    By contrast RS2 on Verbatim DVD-r makes my Wii cry. The loadtimes are awful and the driver keeps mourning while the music can't keep up with the cinematic cutscenes. Most other Verbatim DVD-r work just fine, though some better than others, however this one Sony DVD+r backup is easily one of the best in my library.

    PS I use ImgBurn and didn't manually change the booktype. Mayby it did it automatically because it recognised the format.

    So as long as my Wii isn't making a loud noise then I should be fine? Asking because I used a Memorex DVD-R (Top of it is gold) and the Wii was just as quiet as if I was playing the regular game.

    I have been able to get Super Mario Galaxy working on DVD+R. I believe the brand is Maxor, or something similar.

    Hi;

    I have burned EA Active Sports Game (.ISO) to an DVD-R disk.

    Now, with what should i play it?

    With disc Channell? or With Neogamma Channel or with something else?

    Why post this question here? Has nothing to do with what the conversation in this thread is about.
