I recently switched over from the R4i Gold for the 3DS to the DS Two and I'd have to say the GBA emulator by itself is worth the $20 average price increase over most cards. Also the build seems a little more solid as the card is actually screwed together. However, I have my worris about compatibility with the 3DS XL once it comes out. Will it be compatible, is the nesDS problems fixed with XL models, etc...
Give me a thanks if anything i said was useful or you found it remotely intuitive

as far as i know, there is no difference between the new 3DS XL and the original 3DS besides the screen size, so i think the DStwo or other cards will still work on it. but we will see when it comes out. even if the new 3ds blocks the flashcart, i am sure the DStwo will release the update to support it, this is what always happen.
Do yourself a favor, don't buy crappy flashcarts.

Edit: I posted in the Acekard thread but Supercard 2 looks more appealing.

Just found my answers in their (very active) forum.

For anyone else with the same questions:
1)it runs Colors (which I'm told works the best on DS & DS lite only)
2)'patched' allows cheats, slowmotion, save/load real time etc. on backups (you must legally own original)
