    Different kind of R4 cards

I have the original r4 card. In 2008, r4ds.com stop upgrade the firmware because recently they are developing r4i. However, I look this website:

There are so many types of r4 and I get confuse. When I looked r4new.com and r4top.com, they still keep up to date the firmware. My questions are:

    1. What are the different in those r4?
    2. Can I use their firmware to my original r4? Because I have problem when I want to play "Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story" and "The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Track". I heard the new firmware could help solve the problems.

The R4 team brokeup a while back, any R4 type flashcart you see on the market today is nothing but a knock off.

If you'r having problems playing certain games, wait for a firmware upgrade or find a patch for the game. You could go to DSiHacks to see if there is a patch for any games you cannot play on your flashcart. You can also download the latest wood firmware there too.

Try the firmware at r4i-sdhc.com. They have firmwares for the r4i-sdhc and for the r4.
