    preinstalled game feature transfer

i just bought a nintendo 3dsXL zelda bundle. the game had to be downloaded .
my kids [6 & 7 years old ] now want my 3ds.... only solution is to buy them one.
i want to buy them a 2ds bundle with pokemon , i love RPG's , and they dont care for that game
can i just use their download code on my 3ds or is it actually preloaded in the 2ds ???
if i put the same account ... will i be able to download all games preinstalled and bought from online ????? [ my nook has that feature ] ??

THESE MIGHT BE SOME BASIC QUESTIONS .... BUT I ONLY BOUGHT THE 3DS XL FOR ZELDA AND IM COMPLETELY NEW TO 3DS

Once a game is tied to a 3DS, it is on that 3DS permanently. The only exception is if you do a full system copy from one system to another.

If the game comes installed on the system already, only a system transfer will move it off. I don't know what will happen if you do a system copy from a "new system with one game" to an existing system. I've only ever done it the other way around (as intended), copy a game full of content onto a clean system with nothing installed.

If the game comes with a download code, you can redeem the code on any system. It doesn't have to be the one that comes with the code.
