    GBA emulation/rom loading on DSi?

Is it possible to play GBA roms on a DSi? My old (original model) DS is...well, it's seen better days. The touch screen is so worn it barely works and might not be worth fixing. Besides, I kinda like the DSi's smaller style. So what I really want to know is can I load GBA roms on a DSi using my AceKard 2i or will I have to get a new flash card...or is it just not possible at all?

Actually, people said it couldn't be done, and yet someone has managed to get it to work, there is a topic on GBATemp, but since outside links aren't allowed, just Google " DS GBA Emulator ", it should be the first result.

    The emulator : Here

To get it working, you need to unpack the contents to the root of your microSD, you have to be running Wood v1.45+, and you need to copy over your GBA games in either .agb, .bin, or .bm, Wood currently disallows .gba for some reason.

I haven't actually tested it though, but it looks interesting.

Thanks, I'll have to check that out tonight and see how (or if) it works with AKAIO.

Well, it looks like the most cost effective and practice choices are these:

    1) Keep my current, beat to crap, DS along with the AceKard 2i and EZ Flash 3in1 I already own. Then buy a DSi or 3DS (used probably lol) and use the AK2i to play my DS roms on that while I use the old DS to flash GBA roms to the EZ Flash 3in1

    Or

    2) Sell the old DS, buy the DSi or 3DS and buy a GBA flash card and use my computer to load roms on it via USB (if there are any GBA cards that use USB).

Either way I'd have the DSi or 3DS + AceKard 2i for DS roms and my GBA SP + Flash card for GBA roms...though I think GBA cards can only hold 1 game at a time which is somewhat disappointing but not a deal breaker. Looks like I got a bit of research to do lol.
