Help DSi XL updated and now my R4 is not working!

I stupidly upgrades my DSi XL to the latest version - 1.4.4A. Now my R4i card (VI.4.3) WiFi won't work. I have downloaded the latest kernel which is VI.59.b but that doesn't work either. :( Does this mean that the latest download is still not operational for the latest DS update?? Any info would be much appreciated.

I recently ran into this problem and the only way around it that i found was to order another R4 card which surports the new menu 1.4.4. Have a look here Welcome to R4SDHC.COM -Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS and have a look at v2.20t this worked for me so hopefully this will work for you.

Hi, you need to update your r4i sdhc card with a DS Lite, then your card will work on the DSI V1.44 again, here is the video guide for you. The video is a update method for r4i sdhc 3ds, you need to use another firmware for r4i sdhc instead. just download the firmware V1.59b from here: R4 R4i SDHC Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS R4i Cards R4 Cards the update ethod is the same though.

The R4i sdhc card has wifi feature, but in my opinion, this feature is really pointless.

hi plz help... i followed the above instructions but when i put the flashcart in the ds lite to do the upgrade i go into config and the upgrade option is set to off. when i tap this it says "to enable upgrade feature again please restore r4imenu/flash.r4i" ?? the r4 card does work in the lite but isnt working in my dsxl this is why i follwed the clip above as the update meant my flashcart no longer worked.
please tell me what i need to do to get round this problem

im thinking the 2nd one on this site is the one i need to download then put on to the micro sim.....is there anything else that i need to download and put on the card to make it work.

i even can not access the site r4i-sdhc.hk i think this card has stopped updating for long time. and this card is really not a good card. recommend you buy another continued update card instead, always recommend R4i gold 3ds(should be this one: R4i Gold 3DS Wood R4i 3DS flashcard For DS DSi 3DS -dsflashcart.com ), acekard 2i and DStwo.

I have 2 cards that I'm trying to fix the problem on 1 is from the r4i-sdhc.hk the 2nd is from r4i-sdhc.com both look the same but just have different ending to the website printed on them. I thought I'd prob have to buy a new card and a better quality one and if I do this it will be updated and ready to work with 1.4.4 ? Thanks
