    ace3ds not working?

I have a 3DS with an ace3ds flashcard, and it was running fine. Left it with my sister for a couple months, and I started getting a white screen when I loaded the ace3ds. Then I updated my 3DS to the newest firmware (4.1.0-8), and I started getting a black screen with 'an error has occurred', turn off your 3DS, etc. Can't seem to fix it. Suggestions?

Try updating the kernel for your card! http://www.ace3ds.com/

You made a mistake, you shouldn't update your 3DS console before you update your Ace3ds flashcart. So now you need to update your ace3ds flashcart on a DSL console.

Here is a method quote from official site

Update your ace3ds card to support 3DS v4.1.0-8 and DSI v1.44!(2012-05-28)
Things required: DSL console(or other console which your ace3ds card can support), ace3ds card, sd card, card reader
1.Download the newest update patch. you can Download here
2.Download the latest kernel, You can Download here
3.unzip the two firmware and put all the files on the root of the sd card.
4.Put the sd into Ace3ds, put Ace3ds into the DSL Power on.
5.Click the game button, you will show "3ds4.0.0.7nds ", click and then press A to start update, just waiting when it shows "EraceinProgress..." it will update by itself. Do not do any operate when it updating. Make sure the power is full and not power off during the updating. If you console power off in a sudden, you card will be damaged.

When it become 100%, reboot the console.
Then the icon will change. And the card can support 3ds v4.1.0-8 and dsi v1.44 perfectly!

And also a video for you

Do yourself a favor, don't buy crappy flashcarts.

I had the same problem. i left my dsi with my nephew and i think he clicked on 3ds4.0.0.7nds and turned off the ds. Anyway I fixed in this way try my solution and let me know if it worked for you too:

    UnbrickAce3ds with hotswap method
Download last firmwere from www.ace3ds.com and last update
    Unzip firmwere and update
when unzip the update you will have a folder AceFLASH open and copythe 2 files 3DS4.0.0-7.nds and update.dat and paste them in a new folder into the micro sd of anyflash card that works on a dslite console.
putthe working flash card into the dslite and run 3DS4.0.0-7.ndsas a normal game.
    Ondslite you will read :NowcheckID,pressAbutton
Atthis point remove the working flash card and replace it with the not workingAce3ds with microsd inside in which you must put the latest firmwere and the same 2 filesyou had on the working flashcard: 3DS4.0.0-7.nds and update.dat
Press A button and the update will start when complete 100% will ask toreboot the dslite
rebootand the Ace3ds will work again.
ISVERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE SAME UPDATE FILES ON BOTH MICRO SD: 3DS4.0.0-7.nds and update.dat
    let me know if worked

Today ace3ds team has released the update patch and new firmware for 3DS V4.2.0-9. just use them to do the update and reflash work. and yeah, usiong another flashcart to unbrick the bricked card is always a nice idea.
