    Help with update-DSi and r4i

I have an R4i. The website of the maker is R4i SDXC. After updating the NDSi to v 1.4.4 (mistake, I know), the r4 didn't work anymore. So i went to the website and lo and behold, they have an update for it already. I downloaded the RAR file , unzipped it and put onto the SD card. I put it in another DS lite and reflashed it (ran the program). Now the card doesn't work on either the DSi or DS lite. Any suggestions to fix this?

That card should work fine on your ds. You might want to try again and be sure you are getting the correct files....the latest wood firmware.

Can I reflash it in the same DSi with v1.4.4 or do I need to use one that hasn't been updated? Also there is a DAT file called update. Do I just put it into the root directory or does that have to replace another file?

I dont have the r4...yet. My dstwo supercard worked that way though...update.dat on the root and it would update when you turn it on. Not sure about the need for another ds. You can just try in yours though, either it works or it doesn't.

Ok. Thanks. I get a white screen if I click on it on the DS lite and an error message to turn off NDSi. I will contact the manufacturer and see if they have an idea.
