I also have a drivekey version 2 (the one that allows you to play NSMB and newer style games). I found Golden Eye worked fine as well. I am going to be looking to play the New Donkey Kong Game and Epic Mickey. Are either going to require newer firmware or can we do the above and just simply block udpates? What is the procedure for that then? We set upddates to be blocked and then click to install the update so the game will start but the update will fail and then it wil still work? I've never had to do this either on my drivekey and do not want to to run soft hacks.

Well I bit the bullet & did the upgrade. Now running 4.3E.I now have three more channels (internet, today & tomorrow,+ one other).
Donkey Kong Country Returns plays great,Epic Mickey shows the opening cutscenes then the screen goes black(DOH!)...

You say you bit the bullet and did the upgrade, how did you go about this??

I have the drivekey 2 installed and have never had an issue until donkeykong returns, it asks to update when inserted.

Do I need to remove the chip and replace after updating?
Or, do I just need to switch off the option to block updates in the menu?
Should I update from the game disk or through the Wii settings menu? (i'd prefer the latter)

    Thanks
