    usbloadergx can handle ntfs drives.
go for wiigamemanager or wiibackupmanager. download and short description in the fat32 loading guide (link below)

    good luck

edit: your question: yes. load your drive in the manager, load your folder containing the isos (check recursive folders in the options (wiigamemanager)) and use the copy/convert to .wbfs option pointing to your new wbfs folder on the hdd, choose create subdirectories to get some structure in your collection

OK, b4 I do something stupid (remember, Im a newbie here) lemme c if I got it right:

    I should follow this guide:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...g-playing.html
I assume it installs Hermes or something (Again, should I get Priiloader b4 all this?????) and install USB Loader GX r937
then use Wii Backup Manager 0.3.5 OR Wii Game Manager 1.5 AND convert my ISOs to WBFS in a folder on my HDD

    Two more questions:

About Full Channel or Forwarder? Which one is best or whats the difference?
Wii Backup Manager 0.3.5 and Wii Game Manager 1.5 whats the diff??

    Thx in advance

w00t? i thought you already have softmodded your wii and that you have a functional set of cIOS on your system,
a good setup would be cIOS249 rev17 (waninkoko's) and hermes' cIOS222 and 223 (with different base IOS). most softmod guides have included that. if unsure, do the hacking part of the softmod any wii guide (link below) as i presume you already have a running homebrewchannel (?), priiloader is very recommended to have installed right (->softmod guide)
think you are mixing some things up here.

in the fat32 loading guide are those two programs shortly explained, wiigamemanager and backupmanager, they do pretty much the same, which one you use is your decision, i like the gamemanager, easy interface etc.

you have your ISOs on your pc (?), leave em there for now and connect your new hdd, fire up gamamanger and do the mentioned steps in the guide (just the get part: get the games on harddrive, as you want to stick with a ntfs you wouldn't format your drive to fat32 obviously)
that would be done in gamemanager use it to load the ISOs list from your pc, mark all, right click, send them as wbfs to drive, gamemanager will copy stuff to your harddrive (games should finally be in a wbfs folder on your drive, subdirectories recommended for each game)

guide has also included a part where you can get the loader right. don't know which version you ll need, one of the latest, start with that given in the guide.
full channels take more memory of your wii, a forwarder takes less and reffers to the loader folder on your sd card, explained in the guide too.

hope that helped a little, stick to the guide, except formatting to fat32

    good luck

edit: the mentioned versions of those loaders 222 or 249 are only loader version where the default cIOS to load upon gameloading is either 222 or 249, making it nessecary to have those installed on your wii of course. Link below (wanin/hermes cIOS as wads) can get you those cIOS, from your first syscheck you only got cIOS249 rev14, that is a little bit outdated and you might want to upgrade to rev17, look at the cIOS thread -> recommended set up and see for yourself what you want to get. those cIOS wads are then installed with wad manager (short paragraph in fat32 guide/or search function)

Well, I followed http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tem-menus.html and stopped where he says
D4)Install wads (careful with that, ok? youare not priiloader safe. Definately do not uninstall ANY IOS LOWER THAN 200!!! You will brick! I repeat for the Butt-heads: Do not uninstall ioses with a number lower than 200!!!)
To install wads, select wadmanager, and choose ios249 and SD card on the options (should be default).
-If you want Neogamma as a channel , install Neogammar8.wad
-If you want USB loader GX as a channel, install USBLoaderGXr850.wad (this will install the full channel, but you can install the forwarder instead, USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder.wad, which can be directly updated by placing updated version in the SD card, yet you will need the SD card constantly inside the Wii slot to launch it. Install whichever sounds more useful to you)
Note that your HDD needs to be formatted as WBFS with WBFS Manager.

The following are really optional and not needed to play backups. Also mind that incorrect use of them might brick you!! so use with caution!!
Since I wasnt sure what I was doing....

I got my ISOs in the external HDD so, reading the guyide and based on what u said here, I DONT need to format, right????? Also, all other data I got in the external HDD wont bother the Wii????

    I cant find the
cIOS thread -> recommended set up
    u mentioned....

Anyway, thx a lot, I'll try that stuff all tomorrow coz its my day off, dont want to rush and screw things up

OK. good. maybe, you want to leave that step out, the guide is kind of outdated and it will give you some older revision of these loaders.
I would do the steps 6 and 7 (this will block future disc or online updates), that will get you priiloader, really recommended to have that.
For ntfs loading you will need the latest usbloadergx revision or cfg loader, can also handle ntfs (go for this, really nice loader): Link (also includes the installation of cIOS 222 etc.scroll down you'll find it). As you have a wadmanager from the softmod guide you can use that to install any .wad file to your wii.

I was talking about using this here Wanin and Hermes cIOS as Wads to install with appropriate program
(they have a recommended set up part)
those cIOS wads can be installed with wadmanager (cfg loader guide mentions that you ll need those cIOS 222/223 OR cIOS249 rev20 (don't go for 19) maybe you want to install this too).

to your question, yes, leave the drive like this, just open up a wbfs folder where you will drop your games through gamemanager to. the wii will ignore anything else on the hdd.

    enjoy your day off.

    cu & good luck
