super mario galaxy 2 002 error fix?

I burnt the game at X2 and i get the blue screen with the 002 error message..

is there any way to fix this?

soft modding is not an option.

I think that the only thing that might fix it is to do an update to the 4.2 firmware. This will block out of region games, though. Other than that, you have to soft mod.

Seems to be missing iOS38, 53 and 55. If you do not want to softmod, your only option would be to update to 4.2 which will block region free loading (as ruel said). What chip are you using and what firmware are you on?

You could take this advise and update to 4.2 to give you the missing IOS's and then follow this guide to get you back down to 4.1 which will restore region free.

In your case, yes, updating via the internet will work fine.

I hope that's not slang for a suspiciously-like a similar word that comes to mind... language is an infractable rule violation.

Can this be solved by a future firmware update of the hardchip ? (Wasabi DX)
