The Drivekey Team Doesn't Care About It's Original 1.0 Supporters

It's literally been months since NSMB has been out, and countless other chip devs have gone out of their way to release updates for their on street products to insure that they can bypass the newly enlisted piracy block Nintendo has implemented on their software. I don't know if anyone else agrees, but I find it very irritating that the Drivekey Team can't even keep a steady update-blog about the progress of creating any type of update for their original chips. I paid just as much as the 2.0 customers did, what happened to that product loyalty they bragged about when they first hit the scene? Most hardmodders heard about all the new titles that were announced at the recent Nintendo Press Event and I'm sure got excited, where I only got more frustrated with the Drivekey devs. I know for a fact I will not be able to boot any back-ups for these upcoming first party titles. Us old supporters aren't asking for much, all we want is an update. In a perfect world, the Drivekey Team could allow us first generation adapters to exchange our 1.0 chips for the new chips (I'd have no problem paying a reasonable difference/shipping charge), but that would never happen. If these new chips simply added new features or better performance (i.e. the iPhone hardware) that would be one thing, but us 1.0 users are basically using a broken product. I will not be supporting Drivekey in the future and I strongly suggest that anyone in the market for a Wii chip looks elsewhere.

and to add to that the d2pro chip that they made, they still haven't done an update for that i herd its was getting discontinued.

I beepin hate wiikey and will never buy another one of there products and I run a modding business and have modded over 300 wii. I'm taking my business somewhere else now.

they announced that the programmers would come out after wiikey fusion completion, the fusion is undergoing final stages now so it shouldnt be much longer. I can say I am dissapointed that the fusion took so long as well as the drivekey jtag programmer. Furthermore I am truly dissapointed if after the drivekey update is released that no d2pro update comes out, we will push to the extent we can for this update to become a reality. If anyone is knowledgable with assembly we could possibly create our own update.

I'd switch in a heartbeat, but would need to sell my chip to someone first as I can't afford to spend money again and bin this!

the worst part is we'll have to fork out for the Jtag programmer, i love that they are still selling the drivekey with the feature list stating

    # FPGA fully updatable via JTAG external programmer
    # JTAG software automatically downloads individually signed updates from DriveKey server

I'm equally pissed, but at team Infectus...They simply moved on to D-right and left all us with the Argon in the dust

I paid to get my chip installed correctly(was a noob and still am:P) so if I want to get a new chip, I have to pay for the craps removal and the new installation, or take the risk and do it myself...Right now I have my eyes at Sneekychip

Will never buy anything from any of the fucking groups ditching the support for their old chips

so far the wasabi team has shown excellent support since they not only updated their latest but even older chips and all through a dvd update.
