    search google for "wiu 1.1"

i am not sure if it will work with the drive key, i will try myself when i receive my dvd's. they should arrive tomorrow.'

Load the ISO with WiU 1.1 en press the 'patch update' button. that should remove the update. Then burn to disc and see if it works.

i'll let you know when i tried it

I can confirm it works.......DK 2.0 4.1U FW and I patched the update with WIU.
    Works like a damn charm.

    Wasted 3 disks LOL

    Landed another one.............Geometry Wars Galaxy.
Pal to NTSC patch through WIU ( thats how the ISO came ) with no update.
Error 002 ( rmeove disk and reboot )

Ideas? Its an old game.......Shouldnt have any issues ?

    thanks

Oh god are all you people seriously reading anything before you post this stuff.Number one do not update if this is NOT an ORIGINAL ntsc version of super mario bros. The update may NOT be on the disc.If it isnt your screwed,so why take the chance right? If you do update from an original disc it will bring you to 4.1 there is NO,I REPEAT NO game that requires 4.2 to work. You will be just fine after that.As far as the yellow sticker is concerned,if you would have waited a week or so you would have got one.I would not count on that J tag updater coming out too soon.So until then even if you update NSMB it still wont work.I have the new drivekey with my ntsc wii and im on sys menu 4.1 and every single game I have ever tried(over 100) works flawlessly. So please get yourself informed and take what other people say around here with a grain of salt. ty

Final Fantasy Crystal bearers is released on 26 of december, did you try to update from that disc? if you did then i believe you that it isnt a 4.2 game. if you didnt then let someone try first. And i am not going to do so.
BTW i have a pal wii and updated with a burned nsmb disc pal version, worked for me, i am also on 4.1 and i am not going to update if a game requires that, even if it is a pal game.

    Sorry for the bad english.
