Newbie Drivekey owner here - cant get any games to not "freeze"

I bought a drivekey and put it in my wii.

I took my existing owned games, made an ISO image using rawdump, burned to DVD at 1x speed using IMGBURN.

I put them in WII, and it sputters and freezes. Even if you are patient and start a game, the game eventually comes up with an error and boots you out.

I triend Sims Kingdom and Mario and Sonic at the Winter Games.

You can also hear the wii "click click clicking" as it spins the disc.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong here? Im beginning to think I wasted 50 bucks on the drivekey. I dont want to softmod, just wanted to play backup games, dont want to play PAL games, no homebrew - just very basic backup setup and I cant get that going.

    Would really appreciate any ideas!!!

Unfortunately, I ONLY do hombrew and soft-mod...
I'll try to help you with soft-modding if you want it. For right now, I need you Wii System Menu Version. (I own a 4.2U)
Also, make sure you're burning correctly, and making the ISO file correctly.
