Anyone having problems with Drivekey and 4.2 update?

I have the Drivekey and updated my NTSC Wii to 4.2U. ~~So far I have not noticed any problems with any of my games~~, but have not tested all of them. I've heard rumors that some folks are not getting their import games working after the update.

Anyone noticing any issues?

I have now tested all of my games and found that I have 17 casualties, most of which were working just fine before the update. Since I did not label most of them as NTSC or PAL, I'm not sure which were due to region or if there is another issue (ie: scrubbed discs).

Strangely, there is one game, My Horse Club Appaloosas that is in German & Spanish (also PAL I'm quite sure) that works just fine. Hmm?

Beatles Rock Band PAL used to work, but does not now. NTSC version works fine.

I updated to 4.2J tonight -_-
and since then many games stoped working. Only a few NTSC-J games work.
Hope we can get a fix on drivekey real quick.

I spoke to drivekey rep. They said you can change the region of your iso's before burning. I am trying that. Keep my fingers crossed.

I'm about to order a DriveKey and want to make sure it's actually worth it.

i to have this problem, my drivekey'd pal wii now just brings up the spinning ? in the disk channel with my ntsc backups, all pal work fine still, i hope this can be sorted easily! can the drivekey be updated via dvd if a fix is found?

I hope it would be something like that. Better not be we have to buy a new one. I just got mine this week.

You can use Wiu1.1 (Windows only) to change the region of an iso file as well as patching the game if it requires an update.

I found, and edited the directions from another site:

At the bottom of wiu1.1 it says "open ISO". Click on that select your iso file. On the left side of wiu1.1 it has the three different regions, so select yours here. On the right side it will tell you if you need an update on the game or not. If so click the big button that says "Patch Update". That's all you need to do.

There is also a program called WiiUI v1.40. (Windows only)

Wiigionfree 1.0 - Region changer written in Java. Mac/Windows/Linux. I just used this to change Lego Indiana Jones to NTSC-U. It's burning right now and I'll report the results back.

Sadly, changing the region on Lego Indiana Jones (PAL to NTSC-U) using Wiigion Free 1.0 (OS X Leopard 10.5.6) did not work for me.

unfortunately, patching super paper mario and deca sport with wiu1.1 both failed.
I take a look (using WDS Tool v1.2) at the games that work and found out they have different region codes than the repatched ones. Repatching does not result in the same region code.

annunaki, "read" the iso/disc with ImgBurn, u could see the GameTitle and GameID on the first few lines of the hex table. Say, Guitar_Hero_5 SXEE52, Sports_Resort RZTJ01,Mario_Power_Tennis RMAP01,...
while E=ntsc-usa, J=ntsc-Jpn, P=pal as denoted at the fourth letter of GameID.
