any text on the big chip on the wii drive board?

also is the pcb missing the drive controller chip

if so...then you have a d3-2 pcb

which will not work... unless you change the drive pcb

Not trying to insult ya but if ya dont have a d3-2 pcb then in the drivekey menu do you have it set to on because you can turn the drivekey off from that menu just thought id ask if so then i dont know maybe go back to softmodding or get a new drivekey ive had one for a while and havnt had any issues just plug and play

I really dont know if I have d3. Yes, under the drivekey menu, it is turned ON (it is high-lighted with blue/red)

Here is a picture of my PCB, so do I have the d3, which is not modable?

Please advise. Thanks
