i have just brought a drivekey x4 for my wii i havnt fidded it yet and my wii has never been on the net and it only 1 week old and i have a question that im sure you can all answer..
when i fit my x4 and i set my wii to go on the internet will the wii revive updates and stop my x4 working on the internet and brick my wii.
and can i play backup games over the net ??
ps: im in the uk.....

I have the same chip and when you set it to block the update that means it blocks it so you can play the Wii games that have the update on them . Like Wii music mario kart and other Wii games. Very hard to brick a wii if you dont know what you are doing with the homebrew apps. And there are programs to unbrick your wii so basically not problems at all. Lots of helpful forums here just take the time to read and you should have no problems.
