I just installed a DriveKey for a family friend...

Is there anything I should do in terms of settings to make sure he doesn't fubar the system when I am no available?

Any updates I need to apply?

TIA~!

Well if it's just harmodded then just let it go, it'll be fine unless you soft modded it too.

Make sure that the default setting for the Update Blocker function is kept, i.e. set to "Imports". Then he won't be able to brick the Wii with an out-of-region game update.

No, the DriveKey team has not yet released any firmware updates to the chip.

Thanks for the responses, how would I access the settings on the DriveKey?

Edit: Nevermind I found it. To access the config menu I have to go into the disk channel, press eject 3 times quickly, the disk icons start spinning then the Gamecube disk icon shows, next I click Start.
