I am new to Wii, just bought my Wii 2 days ago and reading through the forums is confusing me even more.

Which mod-chip should I buy?

Are all 3 the same or similar in its working?

Forum tested DriveKey and recommends DriveKey, so should I go with that or are there other things to consider before purchasing?

Hi ...

I have the Solderless WiiKey2 that I got from modchip-depot.com....the lower left banner of the 4 uptop.
They were really good with my order and the chip works great in my system.No problems with playing back-ups,I have the 4.0 menu.
Either chip will work as good as the other from what I've read .Just make sure you get the solderless one. So much easier to install and takes a lot less time to do.

if u look at all the chip forums, they test and recommend pretty much all of them. not a good way to base ur choice. what u should do is go onto each modchips personal website and compare what each one has to offer. all 3 of the 4th gen chips are similiar in function but are not similiar in anything else. comparing each chip and gathering enough data to see what sets each apart from the other can take some time and dedication. so u can either do it that way or......u can consider my opinion which is to get the Wasabi DX, hands down the best 4th gen chip out there!!!
