DriveKey problems with Sonic and the Black Knight

Has anyone had problems playing Sonic and the Black Knight with drivekey? I just get a black screen. The only way that I can play it, is to use Wii Gator's Backup Launcher with error 002 fix.

Has anyone backup'd Samurai Shodown Anthology? When I try to back-it-up, it does not show a game ID. I burned it with ImgBurn. It does not play with drivekey nor wii gator's backup launcher.

I have sonic and the black knight original I can try to back it up to see what happens. would be a excuse to try backing games of the new dvd rom i bought .

But I do have firmware 4.0e so this may make it work on mine but not a softmod wii... not to sure but can try anyway!

Drivekey works fine with those games

Drivekey works fine with those games if your wii firmware level is updated

although don't recommend updating if you are using HomeBrew

if no HB...just update via game and bam!!! playing...

    Yes,
You problem is that you dont have the correct firmware to play the game, and as the drivekey skips disc updates, you dont get prompted to update.

As mentioned above turn off disc update skipper in the drivekey config menu and update to 3.4 through the game disc. Otherwise have a look around for the IOS you will need to play sonic and install them through homebrew channel.

    goodluck

Thanks guys for all the help. Since I am running homebrew, I will just stick to running it through my backup launcher or my usb loader.

I thought it was ok to update to firmware 3.4 or even 4.0 AFTER installing the HB channel? I.e. that the HB channel would still work after the update (once installed under v3.2)?
