Well, Rayman raving rabbids 3 and Mario kart wii work fine. Noticed one jittering while playing RRR3 for the rest it worked ok. I'm going to test mario galaxy soon, i will report here later.

Edit: Super Mario Galaxy runs slowly and jitters with the first opening scene. After the intro the game runs smoothly.
It is like some people said before: the limitation to 3x is the reason of the slow play of movies in SMG. For the rest the game runs smoothly.

I have also got this freezing issue at the start of the game as the pirate ship flies in. I just put the latest DriveKey in my Wii, my Wii is not a new one (epoxy) but I'm unsure which model it is from. I bought it in about Oct 2007.

Mario Kart Wii has jittering video sequences when I play it on my Wii with DriveKey (although not as bad as with WarioWare Smooth Moves). I play the PAL version of Mario Kart Wii on a PAL Wii...

I use Verbatim Dvd-R and burn at 2x speed and i use unscrubbed wii games. What do you use then? Maybe one of the problems is the dvd medium or the scrubbed games.

I use unscrubbed games as well. However, so far I have used various DVD+R media (booktype set to DVD-ROM) and burn at 4x speed.

I have some DVD-R media (not Verbatim, though) and will give them a try at 2x speed, but I understand from other threads that the burn speed does not have anything to do with how well the game works, and also I was of the impression that either the media works or it doesn't.

I have not noticed jittering with mario kart. but dont think i watched the intro movie but when you finish a cup and there is the video no jittering there.

I use taiyo yuden dvd-r master grade and burn at 2.4x, My wii is brand new and has 4.0e update may have something to do with it.

Also burning speed does have a affect to a degree. if you have a slow computer, old warn burner and try to run to much in the background you will have a higher risk for errors. The faster you burn the more risk of errors as well

Just always do a error check and if it passes then it should be a good burn

Ok, again, I take it that if a game has been burned succesfully (without errors) to a DVDR, it works the same very way no matter what the burn speed was. I.e. jittering video should not have anything to do with the burn speed (or media brand for that matter) - either the burned DVDR works or it doesn't.

Thing is that most newer burners are not even able to burn with 1x or 2x speeds on the DVD-R and DVD+R media you can buy nowadays, including those from Verbatim! E.g. my 8 months old Optiarc AD-5200A DVD burner drive is only able to burn those types of media at 4x speed and above!!

yes your correct mine burns at 4x but i set it to 2.4x but it will only burn as slow as the drive or media will allow it why most say burn at 1x it will most prob burn faster more like 4x unless your burner supports 1x burning (not to sure if media has as big of effect on it but it may

    Same for me

Using the softmod, 2X burning and FujuFilm DVD-Rs I get some of the same issues discussed here. Im running NeoGamma Backup loader on 4.2U.

I observe the same choppy audio in the intro movies, however there is none during the gameplay. Are all the movie sequences impacted in this way?? Or just the particularly "intense" scenes.
