20.00 USD to you, good people 4-6-2011

    Gentlemen (and any Ladies):

I want to thank you for the support and help in resolving issues with regard to my needs. Your quick responses and sound direction/advice helped me greatly, and for that I feel the need to give back.

I have run a few communities over the years, currently a large gaming community as well, and I know the time it takes to be not only an administrator of game servers, but of a community forum as well. It is time that could be spent elsewhere, and it is also (in many cases) a thankless job.

Hats off to those of you who take time out of your life to make your forum a place of help and knowledge. I know that its rare to never that a dime is ever seen for the work you do. More often you spend money (as do I) to help make the place you administer, better. Any donation of any amount is always greeted and treated with thanks. And as a user to this forum, the simple way I can say thanks is to give a little for what I have received.

    Thank you again,

    -Javadog

I tell all our users who donate that we put it toward 'liquor and women!'

    *smile*

I kid. Again, glad to help out. Your donation of knowledge has been invaluable.

Look forward to being a more active member of this community.

Thank you very much for both your donation and also your kind words. You obviously know that a few words of appreciation go a very long way in sustaining our staff in their site and community support efforts. Very well done of you; thank you very much. Best of luck in the contest and see you around the forum.

Thank you. I have been on both sides of the 'administrative tree' so to speak. I also spent a good portion of my earlier years in a Help Desk position, and I realize what it means to approach a situation or an individual with kindness and respect...until they give you reason not to.

Side note: I see you are down in SF. I am just east of you over in Sacramento. (Bout TIME we are finally getting the nice weather that the rest of the states wish they had out here in 'Sunny California!' Been out getting my beds ready for planting. So nice to be in the North Bay. Very special place we have here.

    thanks again,

    -Java
