    Thanks Spyman for your reply.

I have a few questions which I hope you (or anyone else) could answer for me:

    1. By 'closing the auto jumper' as you mentioned, do you mean placing a blob of solder over the 2 large gold points as shown in the photo above marked 'A'?

    2. What do the 3 gold points at 'B' mean/do?

    3. What do the gold points at 'C' mean/do?

I'm interested in how the chip 'works', as opposed to actually just installing it

Also, I only ask question 1 (above) so that I don't go ahead and something silly and wreck the whole thing!

It's official.. I give up on the piece of ****!!!

I've soldered the 'auto' points no end of times, altered the switch configs, and got absolutely nowhere! Oh, and now the Wii's 'standby' light doesn't come on!

Spyman, I'm going to PM you and may well be doing business

I'm not going to stamp on this D2Sun/WiiClip just yet, but have been tempted on numerous occasions in the past 10 minutes or so!

After soldering, and re-soldering the 'auto' jumpers, and configuring the version/ragion switches to and from D2C and D2C2, I did some crazy soldering on the 'auto' jumpers to see what happened.. and yes, you guessed it, exactly the same!

Here's what I've ended up with..

Any idea's on what to try next... or is it time to give up with this one?! I can't do too much more to it as the clip is becoming rather loose on the mainboard chip!

    Hello WiiHacks!!!

Today I got the same chip and istalled it.
Everythings whent smooth to the point of trying a burned game.
It starts with a red light (milliseconds) then green.
The games come up as they would on a orginal wii...

I am on a PAL system, and have the first releas of the wii.
    I have K1=down K2=up K3=down K4=down.

Soo I'm psyked too get ann answer.

I gave up on the 'chip' idea, and decided to 'softmod' my Wii instead using Backup Launcher 0.3g (by Wiigator). Cost me 19 for a copy of Zelda, and most backup discs work flawlessly. As well, of course, as the added bonus of Homebrew Channel features!
