Will there be an update for D2SUN to play NSMB?
Which chip are you using? The V3pro? I think that is the only soldered chip they have that is upgradable. I'm swapping out my V1.53 for a newer sunkey that is updatable. Was a good chip though. Has played everything I've thrown at it.

You would have to find out from the person that installed it, or open up your Wii and see it. Was it a soldered wire install or ribbon style chip?
The chip was soldered into the wii and it has external USB connection for upgrading firmware
Check out Argon's website and see if the programmer looks like the one on thier website. Sun chips would use a Nero programmer. I dont think there is any new updates for the Argon chips. I would almost suggest that you take it to your nearest "modder" and let them have a look at it. Worst case is you get a new chip.
no update for the d2sun chips yet, sunkey chips excluding lite have updates, and sundisk as well.
are those sun disks worth the money, id get a WODE but iam unable to mount the wii verticaly and i wish WODE offered a horazontal stand.
I have one in my wii and it's great. Can rip games from the disc to the memory on the chip and play without disc. You can also dump the ISO to your computer and burn a backup. For myself, it was worth every penny. They have update for it already to work with NSMB, (although programmer is a separate purchase). Trying to find a chip supplier that sells them is a difficult task.Quote:
