They don't have the firmware released for users to flash their own chips to the latest 2.3/1.6 for D2E. The download they have is for D2C2. You have to buy a new chip with the latest D2E support (not to be confused with the older D2Pro9s with D2E support that at the time was "suppose" to have fixed everything but really was still buggy in some wiis).

if you have a d2pro9 v3 then you do not need to update the chip it will already have d2e compatible firmware. if you got it from us then you'll have 2.3/1.6 firmware.
