Help. Some games work. Some don't - Wiihacks

Hi guys,

I have a D2Pro9 v2 (firmware 2.3) on a D2C2 (firmware 3.1e). Backsups and originals work fine on both NTSC and PAL, but some backups such as Mario Kart, SSB, We Love Golf don't work. The Wii reads the game, but as soon as the game tries to load, the screen goes blank. Oh, I also patch all my games.

Any thoughts?..

Is the wii NTSC or PAL?

And these three games you have that is not playing, is the games NTSC too?

yeah, these games are NTSC. But I've burned other PAL/NTSC games and they work fine. The drives sees the game and tries to load it, but the screen just goes blank afterwards and the system just freezes. I have to unplug the power cable to reset it.

ok....the three games as it is NTSC..you don't need to patch the games for it to play cause it is already matching your region, and as it is already in its region and it asks you to update, you can update it, if it is not in its region and it asks for an update, don't update it cause it can brick your wii.

But I've patched all the other games NTSC/Pal and they all work fine. Should I unpatch it and burn it again?

yeah you can try and unpatch it, but try to download a fresh copy of it if you want.
