D2pro 9 wire freeze up my Wii on Some Games..
Hello Guys need some help oh some guidance..
Recently I got a D2pro 9 wire Install by §piktsµ Who may I say did a great job and will recommend him to others Any way back to the issue ..
On some games like it will show on the menu as disc ready and it will look fine and dandy but once I try to play I get a black screen and it stay there till I remove the power from the back of my Wii … No w My Questions are
1. Did I burn bad ISO (Using ISOBURN and not going over 4 on speed to burn the ISO)
2. I need to use different DVD-R (Using Maxell and the others I burn work fine on the same type of DVD-R)
3. Do I need to update the chip oh the wii…
Thank you

ok...first, use either imgburn or alcohol 120% to burn your backups @4x
not all the times maxell work properly especially with a D2pro chipped wii, try using the Phillips DVD-R or Verbatim DVD-R.
And no you don't need to update the chip in the wii. It is just your backups giving problems..that just it.

trauma center series games are a little touchy when the ISO goes on certain types of media. They like to go on the Verbatim Taiyo Yuden discs burnt at 4x with either Alcohol120% or last version of Clone CD nothing higher or lower than 4x.
