I have a D2E and looking to buy either or, I just want to know is it really worth the money to get the D2PRO9 over the D2SUN?
Any known problems I should be aware of with either or?

You may want to take a look at the d2sun site as they have a version 1.5 and 3.0 with update capability, where as the 1.3 is there 'lite' version

I thought that the D2Pro9 V3 resolved its inching issues with its latest firmware (2.3) assuming you pushed down on it enough when installing. If you don't push down on it enough, reports show that inching may occur.

No I didn't get that problem with my customer's wii...how I rebuilt the chip, it boots as stock as possible and don't have the senile drive problem......you just said how some drives need to turn off to reset then turn on, if you don't tell me that earlier, I wouldn't have known the chip have these issues, and I would have look for a solution to resolve it.

we've never had any issues with the d2pro9 v3 yet and have sold approx 2000 pcs of it so far. There is always the wii-clip issues that can arise, but usually this is because of incorrect fitting. We are going to investigate one drive that had some issues claimed by a user, but until we actually analyize it we won't really know if its an issue or not. As for D2Sun, it works on the majority of systems, but we've had a few problems with them already, including 1.5 and 3.0 which we havent got around to putting up on our site yet.

I've used the D2sun already and the performance rate is unsurpassed, boots all backups quiet and as stock as possible, I have tried all the versions including the 7 wire one, and no problems whatsoever, I didn't even have to rebuild the chip to get it to work stable, as how I have to rebuild the D2pro to obtain optimal performance. D2sun really have stepped up to the plate for their work.
