d2pro9 d2c chipset ssbb error
Hi
I just got my wii modded wit the d2pro9 v2 and i cannot get my ssbb to run it gets stuck at the error msg telling you to eject and power off wii

burned it using imgburn with layerbreak at 1x 2.4x and 4x verbatim +R DL all of them do not work i also updated to v1.5 using the utility disc and wii firmware is updated via internet and is 3.3u

if anyone has a solution please help i don't have the d2prog so updating the firmware is not an option right now

I have the exact same problem!!! Gone through 5 disks


I had a D2C2 chipset but swaped for a D2B

Is the D2Pro9v2 installed with a WiiClip? What is your Wii's Drive type (D2A/D2B/DMS, D2C, D2C2, D2E) ? If you have WiiClip and Wii Drive type D2C or higher, is the CLK jumper bridged? Is that the only game not working?

i have the d2pro9v2 with wiiclip sorry forgot to mention clk is bridged and wii is d2c, so far only ssbb isn't working and haven't come across any other issues that others have such as eject issues and so on..

@cobalt i just went thru 5 as well and decided to ask for help

@alvinyang I have gone through 2 more since last night with no joy.........

I have a Wiiclip as well and clk jumper shorted all my other backups work fine!

I have searched the forum and read a lot. I have tried everything on here so far...

This is from ModderMan

use imgburn for best results.

burn at lowest supported speed that you dvd media supports.... show up in the right window showing disc info (4x or slower)

set write mode from DAO to incremental

set layerbreak to user specified

enter 2084960

uncheck verify if you want it quicker

although other brands may work... Verbatim dvd dl+r are the most trouble free....then memorex dl+r...then the others

was arldy using verbatim dvd +r dl with same setting except the dao to incremental will try tat now hopefully it will work thx for reply

Well tried 2 more times (verbatim +dl) with what modderman said.

PC with sony dru 800a newest firmware did not work

MacBook Pro got start screen try to start I get disk read error

I guess I will try different disks.............got to buy more

Could it be possible that the iso you may be bad. Have tried a different iso image?

I will try another iso but the one I am using had 5 replies on usenet that it was good

changed from dao to incremental burned at 1x still no luck will try new image once it finish downloading thx for replies
