your clip is not sitting properly. apply pressure to the clip and hit the power button on the wii and see if it works.

Hi there!
I bought a D2PRO9 V3 with v2.1 presoldered on a wii-clip and installed today.
I dont have any backups, so I used the original Wii Sports disc and the chip flashes as in the video, however when the discs spins, there is no light flashing on the chip card.
I can play the Wii Sports, but I dont know if the chip works. I tried to play a DVD disc and it doesnt work. It tells me that the disc cannot be read.
I also put a USB hdd, where I have iso backups. I cannot access the hdd... so is the chip working or not?
It has the jumper bridge soldered.
thanks a lot in advance!

thanks for the quick reply.
I thought that I can play DVD movies on modded Wii. I put a DVD movie disc inside - it says cannot be read.
How can I play backuped iso from hdd? Is there a tutorial I can read how to do it?
Is there other possibility to check the chip? It flashes 2 times by the way. red-blue, red-blue when power on. I have a pal wii.
thanks again for your help!!!

Yes, you can play DVDs but only after installing the Homebrew channel and then installing the DVDX app.
