i ordered the pre soldered D2SUN v1.22 says on the site its compatible with d2c2 version.fingers crossed,the link provided highly recomends D2PRO9 v2 for d2c2 version for update ability,maybe a good idea to put this chip in second wii.thx for the info top man

don't worry drybones.....you are not a noob cause you just recommend a high end modchip for somebody who wanted some advice from anyone. And with a little more research, testing and some technical experience, you will fully understand a lot from the video game system modifications. Keep it up bro.

actually, the new d2sun 3.0 and the d2sun 2.0 have update capability with disk and jtag.

true but what about the Wiizard and D2E-A9? they are just as rock solid as the D2sun and D2pro too

by the sounds of it i shouldve researched a little longer before making an impulsive purchase.patience was never my strong point.also very very helpfull forum with quick responses all modding noobs like myself appreciate alot

the problem is we dont know if we will see support, or if it works yet since they haven't release any demo of this. That said I still do like the chip, currently use the v1.31 for many customers that can't afford the d2pro9/wasabi2/wiizard solutions.
The wiizard however is a very underestimated chip, it is very powerful indeed.
