Wii Update with D2pro v1.8

I have a Wii 4.1U with D2Pro v1.8. Can I upgrade the Wii with an original new game? Please help me, I'm desperate!

The newer games are not loading! I give error 002!

umm, do you have a 002 fix for your modchip? perhaps a updated firmware for it?

The v1.8 is the latest to D2Pro! But my wii is 4.1U. I think if I upgrade to 4.3U will return to run the games

You will not be able to play a single out of region game by doing so. Also, games and so forth are predicated by IOS --- not System Menu. You are setting yourself up for needless heartache. If you're that hell-bent on this, you can do so but then would have to do this to restore your out of region gaming. Note: effectively this is a softmod technique (softmods and hardmods can coexist).

This means that even if I upgrade my wii I can not run new games? D2Pro not work anymore then? Sorry, but I'm newbie ......

Probably in your case, you'd do well/better by reading this thread. It has a section detailing how to do this for hardmodders and maybe the simplest approach. Failing that working out for you, please review my previous posts on the subject. I suppose asking the developers about this would be out of the question for some crazy reason, eh?
