    Do you have a soldering iron? Radio Shack has them for like 10 bucks. It will save your sanity to solder that puppy in!!

    It turns out that i had a faulty wii clip..
    Al fixed me up at the Canada mods office and now i'm up and running 100%

    Yeah it was weird, not really sure what about it wasnt working as it wasn't getting power, but since it was loose probably not making contact, changing it up worked nicely

    if nothing else, pick up a soldering iron from radio shack for 10 -15 bucks. Solder the chip in. If it works, you know it was the clip.
