    d2ckey & v1 wii clip trouble

    Hi all,

Am looking for some help, I recently purchased 2 d2ckeys from Volumerate along with 2 V1 wii-clips. I have tried both of these in a friends Wii and i get the same thing with both, the back-up disc will spin and the red light will start flashing on the d2ckey, but it will then just stop spinning and the light will remain on red.

The Wii is a d2c chipset (d1). The D2ckey is not like any I have seen before it has contacts just above the H,J, K, L that may or may not require soldering also.

Here is a link of the chip I have to get an idea of what am talking about:

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

well first off its not an authentic d2ckey, d2ckey does not look like that (we were official distributors so we know) , and d2ckey has been discontinued for a while now. Make sure you are setting the jp1 (if ntscusa console) jumper. Check the wiiclip carefully and perhaps see that its a real wiiclip because the clip itself could also be fake.
