    i think korean wii's cant do the config because they got rid of the gamecube capabilities.

    sell your korean wii if you can.
    then buy a usa wii.

    you can try and look through the sd slot when you fire the machine up and see if there are any leds in there blinking, or you can open it up.

    I know japanese wii's dont use a triwing but just a regular philps driver, not sure about korean wiis.

    I don't really want to open it up. Are there any other areas on the Wii where I'd be able to see the lights blinking at startup?
