    Overall modchip satisfaction

Anyone want to post here and give there overall impression of how well this modchip works? Maybe you can include the following, so that others who are looking to buy it know what there getting into.

    1. Ease of install....Is there any soldering or not with this chip + chip clip?

    2. Any overheating issues?

    3. Anybody kill there wii from this chip yet?

    4. Does it effect updates sent out by nintendo?

    5. Does it effect its online ability (internet, playing games with others)?

    6. Does it come off if you want to go back to original wii state?

    7. Anything else?

    Thanks

If you order with the following link there will be no soldering and all you do is open your Wii and press it in place. They also have an installation video on how to disassemble and all.

    2. Any overheating issues?
Left mine on almost 24 hours now, no over heating.

    3. Anybody kill there wii from this chip yet?
Probably, but it could have been from a none proper zone update from a PAL game or something.

    4. Does it effect updates sent out by nintendo?
No way of knowing the future programming of Nintendo. You're only sure bet is to buy everything from them.

    5. Does it effect its online ability (internet, playing games with others)?
    Hasn’t prevented me

    6. Does it come off if you want to go back to original wii state?
The link I gave you has one that pops right off. Most have to be soldered to your wii, so some remain on until un-soldered.

    7. Anything else?
I ordered from canadamods, which is sponsored here, and could not be happier. Ships fast, follows up with help here, and I read posts from others with problems getting their chips and ask myself why they wouldn’t use a sponsored, reliable place. My advice, buy from someone trusted, or you may get a fake chip or one with a very old update and cant play all backups.
