I would go with a v2 if you can get one due to lower cost. The V3 adds support for D2E, but if you have a D2C or D2C2 you will not need D2E support. When V3 came out the price dropped on the V2. I have a few V2s left if you are interested.

If there is a price difference on V2 for you and you dont have a d2e then go for the v2. If you are going for the V3 you want to make sure it has 2.3/1.6 firmware so that it won't have any issues with an older chipset.
