WEIRD weird problem you probably haven't seen

ok i don't think my problem is the so called 'eject' problem, so let me just describe it.
when i turn my wii on, it goes to the home menu thing like normal wii would.
and i can put in a disk or eject it as many times as i want..no problem there.
but when i play a game, let's say metroid 3, for like 4 hours, then i want to play another game, so i exit the game by pressing the home menu button then saying yes to 'do you want to exit?'.
the problem starts here.... so now i'm in the home menu thingy.. and i can eject the disk no problem.. so i eject the metroid 3, then when i try to put in another disk, wii won't accept it... i can try to push it in, but i don't wanna break it.
then i have to turn it off then turn it back on (resetting won't fix it).. then everything is back to normal and i can eject and put in a disk no problem.
and this happens only once or twice per day.. doesn't always do that.
so what could be the problem here?

Sounds like the Wii is telling you to get off the couch and go do somthing else lol. Or maybe it is just overheating and the drive is malfunctioning. Then when you turn it off the drive reverts and goes back to normal.

Erghhh grammer and spelling errorsss lol. Well then I have no idea maybe after the drive reading one game for that long just takes a minute to accept another game and recognize it.

i would agree with that, if it has been spinning up a disc for four solid hours, then perhaps it needs to compose itself to make sure the wii has a long playing life which can only be a good thing

    hmm maybe that's why?
when i play for only like 10~20 minutes (to test this problem), it doesn't have any issues...
    maybe my wii is overheating.

Lol that was what I said in my first post I belive. It is overheating and making the drive all confused about what is going on then turning it off stops the power flow and gives it a minute to rest.
