well it varies, cause as you can see the wii have problems in its "virgin" condition, so adding a chip with a problem adds more problems even though it will not show up suddenly but it will show up eventually. Its like adding fresh home cooked meal to last weeks home cooked meal. it will taste good but eventually you will get really sick. If you understand what I mean
Thanks everyone for the great support.
Hope to hear from you soon, cause i'm getting ready to retire from the modding scene.
    Gonna start a new profession.

hm, i found something very interesting.
i also found someone having the exactly same issue so we might see more of this problem as d2e and d2pro9 become more mainstream.

so i've conducted some experiments (lol?).
    i tried 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes, 50 minutes, 60 minutes, 120 minutes, 180 minutes.
so for example, 10 minutes means playing a game for 10 minutes then exit to the home menu then eject the disk then try inserting a disk.

very interestingly, it never gave me this problem up until 60 minutes mark.
so when i play more than 60 minutes, then exit to home and eject the disk, wii won't accept another disk.
so i've tried 55 minutes, 57 minutes and they both passed the test... 61 minutes and 62 minutes gave me this problem.
    isn't it interesting?
so i am concluding that wii has some kind of a built-in timer that flags something at 60 minutes mark? i don't know what's it for and why they would do that but...
otherwise i don't know how to explain it...
sigh... only if i could find out how to fix this annoying problem.
