    Mario Kart Problem

    I have a d2pro9 V2 with 2.0/1.3 and am having several problems.
1st any disk takes much longer to open than it did without the modchip. Second, playing mario kart, there are several tracks which when selected only shows up with black screen. I've left it up for about a minute with no change. I tried updating to 1.6 but seems like that didn't make any difference. Also it seems like this only happens in 2 player mode.
What could these problems be caused by? I burned the game at 4x, is it worthwhile trying slower?

Sorry, it's a D2C v1. The game is NTSC and so is the wii. I updated to 3.3u as well.

could be the image, could be the type of media youre using, could be the burner even.

what media/burner/software are you using ? Are you sure the image is good?

The image came from a friend's original copied using dvd dumper over wifi. I'm using my 1 mo old dell M1330 (matshita drive) Philips DVD-R media.
I'm pretty sure the image is ok, but not as much about the media. I'll try 2x and then maybe get some new blanks.

But I guess it shouldn't have anything to do with the modchip itself since the game loads...
