Do you have a gamecube save card in the slot ??
If so - take it out and try and load the game
Have you used the search function ? used the Tutorial section ?

Did you know you can donate to help the running of this forum ?

Bump this, I get the same problem. At first it would try to change the video mode the PAL and then the screen would go black because there is no input. I sorta fixed this by messing with the wiikey config and starfall settings. It seems that the region free settings interfere with eachother and I could not get region free for gc to work at all with the wiikey. Now i've noticed that some games work and some don't. Is this just because not all of them are supported atm?

Try out the following to see if this fixes the issue. Start the game normally until you see the black screen. Connect the Nunchuck to the Wiimote and press Home to see the menu options. Now press A + 2 + Z together which should result in a short “ping-like” sound.

This should have activated the interlaced mode. Leave the menu and you should see the normal game screen and not the black screen anymore. To change the mode again press A + 1 + Z using the same method as above.
