Exclamation New Wii arrived but I'm scared... [WII MOD DONE!]

Yeah, my new Wii arrived today. Serial LEH1993 (probably D2C2 i think, but i haven't unassembled it yet).

I have D2PRO V3 (D2E compatible with blue sticker) but i'm a little scared. Some people has broken wii's drive with buggy D2PRO:

Yeah i will solder it myself but this is not scaring me but d2pro-killers are!

Those people, soldering 100% correctly, had dvd unit broken after installing d2pro

if you can solder well you will be fine, you dont need the clip. the clip is a good solution for those that can't do the soldering or want it for a better chance with a hassle free warranty exchange.

Make sure to do the G & H points in the proper order, don't do them backwards, that can kill the drive. Make sure you route it the same way as spitsku and you'll be fine. I found on some of the v3 a longer c wire is sometimes necessary.

    Good luck

    Installed!

Today I installed D2PRO V3 on my new D2C2 Wii. It's my first install but all worked well, no issues at all!

What do you say about? Here for you some pics:

A question for you: Double tape is good to fix d2pro on the board as I've done?

    Thank you
