from our personal experience the wiikey with clip was a major flop, out of 100 clips 50 of them were complaints about it not working properly (and we test before we ship) so we stopped carrying it for that reason. Granted from the 50 perhaps 10 bought it for the wrong chipset or had missing legs. You can try your luck with it but its better to solder the wiikey directly if you can.

okay, yeah you could use the D2pro9 w/the clip thing on the D2C version.
Now for the DMS you can use the Wiikey.. with the clip thing too as the DMS
drive the pins are not cut.. or instead of going thru all these..
you can ship it to me.. as a special i'll mod both Wii's for $100. and $30.
for shipping/handling and then your brother in laws would be hooked up
I would install the D2E A9 modchip on the D2C and the Wiikey on the DMS.

I'll have it done the day it arrives and ship it back the same day..
Let me know what u think.. remember they can always call me..

if you want to keep your warranty intact i would recommend solderless...it costs more but if you have an issue with ur wii in future u can easily take it on and off urself and no trace of modchip is left on board.......also the D2E A9 is a wasabi 3 clone.
