    Ca Question

    got my d2pro on my d2b drive but i'm curious about the leds,when i installed it it when red flashed blue then back to red i put a back up in and the light stays red is this normal-can someone please explain to me the colurs and what they mean-also how do i play pal games and aviod bricking my wii-I've heard something about updating a game will brick it,also what is d2pro utilty disk for. just wanted to say thanks again to GMODZ your the best

    2) Before burning backup, use Wiu1.1 (search forum) to remove update from game if one exists. At same time patch region of iso although not necessary but doesn't hurt.

    3) Utility disc (currently version 1.6) is to update the SPI Flash of the D2pro9 chip. To update Actel HW chip version (currently 2.3) you need D2Prog programmer. If you purchased you chip recently then they should already be updated with latest versions.

    so should i use Wiu1.1 even on downloaded games/iso.patch region ??how
    can i play pal games on my ntsc wii or is there something special i need to do
    this is the chip with clip i have D2Pro9 rev 3 + WiiClip V4C-3 presoldered cuz it says the following on the site were i got it from
    Advanced automatic region detection with fallback (works even if a drive is changed to a different region Wii)

    Region override for Wii and Gamecube games

    Direct Boot of Wii original, import, and backup games

    Direct Boot of Gamecube original, import, and backup games

    so does this mean i can just put in a pal games no problem or no.sorry to be such a pain but i'm really new to this and thanks for the help

    how do i know if i need to buy the D2Prog programmer,so thats all the utility dic does than it has no other use

    Yes, the chip will auto detect region, so basically what you are using wiu1.1 for is to remove any updates that the PAL/NTSC-J games may contain. I also mentioned that the region patch is not necessary but it doesn't hurt.

    On Wiu1.1 in the bottom left side of the screen it will tell you the current region for the iso, if its different than your wii, the click and select the region that is same as your wii and press Patch Region.
