A Region patch uses the trucha signer?

I know you can use brickblocker etc.. and it does not do a trucha signing.

But what about using Wiu 1.1 to change my PAL games to NTSC? is that a form of trucha signing or not?

thanks! so its really that simple? download a PAL game, and convert it to ntsc, and thats it? well also keeping in mind that not all games will work. but really, that easy?

I guess its another way of preventing a brick

With the newer chips you don't have even do a region patch as the chip will auto detect, but it doesn't hurt either. Also you can use wiu1.1 to do both region patch and update patch (remove update)
