D2Pro9 v2 solderless wont take disks
I just bought the D2Pro9v2 with the v4c wii clip. I'm having an issue that I can't seem to find anyone else having so I'm hoping its something simple. I have the chip snapped onto the board (I guess its on right because I can pretty much pick up the drive by the chip itself), anyway, when I power it on, the light on the chip stays red and I cannot insert a disk at all and the drive makes a faint clicking sound every second or 2. If I remove the modchip, the wii boots and I can put a disk in. The chipset says gc2-d2c, any ideas? I also put the protective label on the underside to prevent it from shorting. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
theres already a thread for this.
d2pro : Home just released the alternative 2.1 firmware update today for the d2c users who are having problems with the d2pro! The wait is finally over!

Hi Smasher, thanks for the reply. I did see that post but his problem would still allow him to put a disk in...my problem is that I cannot get it to even accept the disk so thats why I thought I had a different issue, thanks for the reply!
